What is the NatureCollege?

The NatureCollege sees it as its mission to specifically promote the inside of sustainability and get it on the agenda as an essential condition for reaching a sustainable society. As human beings we are part of nature, but many of us have lost their connection to nature. The NatureCollege wants to revive the connection to all life by means of learning activities, projects, publications, journalistic productions and the formation of an active international platform. If we live consciously from connectedness, we won't destroy life around us. You won't destroy something that is connected to you.

What does the NatureCollege do?
An important project is 'NatureWise' for school children. NatureWise give children a wonderful day in the woods under guidance of a ranger three times a year. This is how we involve children in nature from an early age and learn them to love all that grows and blossoms. By lectures, round tables, articles, books and movies we reach adults. The NatureCollege facilitates mentality changes in organisations and companies and meets with policy makers on a regular base.

Why is the NatureCollege a member of IUCN?
Because IUCN brings together a wide variety of nature organisations, each with its own contribution. Together we stand stronger in reaching the realisation that we are all part of nature and in conserving a healty living space for all life on this earth.
