What is Staatsbosbeheer?
Working towards a sustainable living environment for man, plant and animal is central to Staatsbosbeheer’s mission. Because Staatsbosbeheer as a social organisation is there for and on behalf of society we cooperate actively with Dutch citizens and the organisations, and institutions which represent them.

• maintaining, restoring and developing woodland, natural heritage, landscape and cultural-historical values at Staatsbosbeheer’s sites;
• promoting outdoor-recreation at as many Staatsbosbeheer sites as possible;
• contributing to the production of environmentally-friendly, renewable raw materials such as timber.
